Recording Speed: The best speed from three shots taken from behind the line (at least 20 feet away) will be recorded.
Valid Shots: A shot must hit the net to be counted. If it misses the net, it will be marked as "NA" (not applicable) and won't have a recorded speed.
Line Rule: Participants cannot step over the line when taking their shots.
Eligibility: The competition is open to ALL kids, with divisions based on age and gender.
Speed Measurement: A radar gun will be used to measure the speed of each shot.

TYL's second year of competition brought out close to 200 contestants. We experienced a tie between sisters in the Girls U13 category and a father and son family sparring with boy having speeds clocked at 91mphs! Boys U11 Troy Sarafian held onto to his title with second year divisional win. Multiple shooters tried multiple times trying to beat their personal best.
TYL's First Ever Fastest Shot Competition had over 100 contestants of all ages, current players and non, with many making multiple attempts to beat their personal best. Think you have what it takes to beat them? Give it a try this year.
